Another week off. (September 17, 2020)

Hello dear family & friends,


Once again, I went in for blood work on Monday and was informed that I would not be having treatment this week. The good news is that the low blood levels from the last couple weeks are now in the normal range. Thank you for your prayers for this. However, my platelet count was too low to receive treatment. Prayers for platelet levels are appreciated. I just found out that the plan is that next week (Monday, September 21st) we will move forward with my chemotherapy.

I am feeling great peace about all this because I believe God is in charge and directing all these starts & stops – – for my best interest. I feel that that is what it means to have a God who is acquainted with all of my ways. He knows and I don’t. I trust in Him to lead and guide me through the hills and valleys of life.

Beside feeling good in my spirit, I am feeling very good in my body as well. My energy is back up – – which is a great encouragement. The aches, pains and nausea in my body are minimal. Sometimes I even feel like my old self! The main source of discomfort continues to be my left hip which is not cooperating at all and I just graduated to a walker.

  1. My Friend Your Faith in The Lord is just awesome my dear sister, I know I’m supposed to encourage you but you encourage me & you make my faith in God stronger! You are a true testament of a woman of faith! I’m so proud of you& I truly truly admire you! You are such a strong woman, Even in your illness , pain , & suffering you still give all us ladies in the Bible study(No doubt there’s lots more people) words of encouragement and hope, you still exude the Holy Spirit & keep right along leading by example! Thank you for that!! God is amazing!, I see Him working in your life, that’s what makes you so strong on this journey. For without Him we are nothing. I pray everyday for healing for you & for you to be cured. I love you my dear friend & sister in The Lord.. Thank you for Loving God so much and leading by example for it gives me faith & a yearning to be a strong godly woman just as you are! 🙏🏼😇Thank you Heavenly Father for making such a beautiful woman, friend, sister in you & for also putting her in my path that which has lead me to your path Father, In Jesus Heavenly name, Amen!!😇🙏🏼

    1. I have listened to all of Chris Wark’s modules Judy. They were very helpful as I was starting out on this journey, gave me some direction and hope. However one has to be very careful. I believe there is no cookie cutter approach to cancer and everyone has to hear from God for what His path is for them. I was juicing and following Chris Warks suggestions for several months but my cancer continued to grow. Cancer is very tricky and one has to listen to God and a variety of medical practioners to determine the best treatment possible. Thank you for your support and being a great resource.

    It was so good to hear from you and to hear your heart of trust in the Lord, and His future for you! We could just “hear” the joy of feeling almost like your old self! Will continue to pray for Sept. 21st and also some help for your hip!

  7. Dear Debbie and Patrick, What an inspiration your witness is! It is wonderful you feel so much better and more like yourself! Have noted September 21st. Asking God’s favor on chemo therapy and the ‘blood level’ needed.
    HE HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR AND THROUGH YOU AND HAS PROMISED TO CONTINUE;. PTL!

    1. Thanks you Bob and Sandra, God has done great things and trusting in His promises. Your continued prayers are a blessing. Not sure how that all works but I just know it does.
